Affiliate Disclosure

How PredictSites Is Funded

PredictSites is funded primarily through affiliate commissions. When a reader signs up to a prediction market platform through one of our links, the platform may pay us a referral commission. The commission does not increase the cost to the reader.

We disclose affiliate relationships clearly through standard affiliate disclosures at the top of every page that contains affiliate links. The disclosure language is consistent across the site: "We may earn a commission if you sign up through our links. This does not affect our ratings or editorial independence."

Editorial Independence

Our rankings and reviews are based purely on editorial methodology. We do not accept payment for ranking placement. Whether a platform has an affiliate relationship with us does not influence whether they appear higher or lower in our rankings, our review scores, or our written analysis.

Commission rates vary across the platforms we cover, but ranking decisions are made before commission rates are considered. Some platforms in our top rankings have lower commission rates than competitors ranked below them. This is intentional and reflects our editorial commitment.

If we identify a platform problem (poor user experience, regulatory issues, withdrawal complaints, or other genuine concerns), we report on it regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with the platform.

Which Platforms We Have Affiliate Relationships With

We maintain affiliate relationships with several major prediction market platforms covered in our reviews. Specific commercial relationships change over time as platforms launch new affiliate programs, modify terms, or wind down referral arrangements.

Not every platform we cover has an affiliate program. Platforms we cover that do not currently have affiliate arrangements with PredictSites still appear in our rankings on equal terms. Their absence from our affiliate roster does not affect their ranking.

Platforms that are geo-blocked for US users or that decline to work with affiliates similarly receive equal treatment in our rankings. Polymarket, for example, is geo-blocked for US users and does not have a US-relevant affiliate program. We still rank it as the leading international prediction market based on its merits.

How to Identify Affiliate Links

Affiliate links on PredictSites are typically "Visit [Platform]" buttons that appear on review pages, comparison pages, and ranked best-of pages. These links carry a `rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"` attribute and may include a tracking parameter that identifies PredictSites as the referring site.

Internal links between PredictSites pages are not affiliate links. Links to platform reviews from our editorial content are also not affiliate links unless they go through an outbound "Visit" button.

FTC Compliance

PredictSites complies with US Federal Trade Commission guidelines on affiliate disclosure. We disclose affiliate relationships in proximity to affiliate content (top of page disclosures on review and best-of pages) and through this dedicated disclosure page.
